Join Melodie Polansky of Grateful Life Wellness and Deb Jennings of Sounds for the Soul by Deb Jennings for the next in their series of Chakra Sound Baths on Sunday, October 13, at 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at Unity Center of Des Moines, 414 31st Street, for the Earth Star Chakra Sound Bath.
The Earth Star Chakra is not located within the body, but about 12 inches below the feet in the etheric body. It has significant effects on day-to-day life. It is also known as the Super Root Chakra for rooting and grounding are its main properties. It anchors the entire Chakra System to the Earth and Universal energies, creating greater feelings of grounding, stability, presence, self-awareness and well-being. It assists in dispelling negative energies and pulling in positive energy from Mother Earth.
During this 90 minute sound bath, we will visualize our roots going down into the Earth and set intentions of connecting with the wisdom of the Earth, the rocks, the interconnectedness of the bones of our ancestors, the fertile soil of Earth from which all life blossoms, our shared collective consciousness and the awareness of our relationship with Mother Earth with every step we take. You will have the opportunity to open for deep inner exploration. Balance, center, align and ground yourself in the midst of a beautiful soundscape that Melodie and Deb will co-create. The sounds will be created with the additional intention of forming a bridge for you between you and the Earth which sustains you.
